STATISTICS AND DATA ANALYSIS
Kursus Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Data statistik diperolehi dari hasil penyelidikan kuantitatif. Perisian SPSS digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam memproses data. Antara perkara yang disentuh termasuklah teori kebarangkalian, taburan kekerapan, kecenderungan ke pusat, pertebaran, persembahan grafik, khi gandadua, ujian-t, analisis varian, korelasi dan regresi mudah.
The course focuses on descriptive and inferential statistics. Real statistical data from media and communication research will be used for statistical analysis. Probability theory, frequency distribution, central tendency and dispersion will be discussed. Statistical analysis of chi squares, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation and simple regression will be applied. Throughout the course, students will use SPSS as statistical tool for analysis and interpretation of research.
