Kursus ini terdiri daripada kuliah, amali dan kuiz yang mendedahkan pelajar kepada artropod yang memainkan peranan dalam kesihatan manusia. Pada peringkat awal kursus, pelajar akan mengetahui tentang aspek asas struktur serangga diikuti dengan pendedahan kepada kumpulan-kumpulan insektisid serta ketoksikannya, arthropod sebagai vektor penyakit serta pencegahan dan kawalannya. Akhir sekali akan membincangkan tentang artropod sebagai ektoparasit dan pengawalan vektor di lapangan.
This course consists of lectures, practicals, and quizzes that exposed students to the arthropods that play a role in human health. In the early stages of the course, students will learn about the basic structure of the insects followed by the exposure to groups of insecticides and its toxicity, arthropods as a vector for diseases and its control and prevention. Finally, it will discuss on the arthropods as ectoparasites and vector control in the field.
